Adrian Morley, known to legions of Warrington Wolves fans, is spearheading a fundraising Golf Day on Friday 30th August to raise funds for the new Warrington Youth Zone.
“Moz” a former GB Captain and who played for the Wire between 2007 and 2013 is organising the fundraiser in partnership with Neil Farrow of construction recruitment specialists Frameworks Recruitment, and is calling on local businesses to enter a 4-man team into the competition.
Having been involved in the Club’s National Citizen Service programme in 2018, Morley is keen to promote projects in Warrington that will benefit young people and had no hesitation in lending his support to the charity. “Playing in Warrington for several years, I really got to know the Warrington community and was delighted to help promote the NCS programme which offers young people a life-changing opportunity and to develop new skills. When I heard about the new Youth Zone that is going to be built in the town centre, I thought this is a great opportunity to get involved and create a lasting legacy for local young people”.
Team entries cost £250, which includes the 18-hole golf competition, a three course-meal, entertainment and prizes. For more information, and to book a place, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
