Support for Warrington Youth Club’s Christmas Hamper Appeal Accelerates

Warrington Youth Club Rybrook Jaguar

Car dealership group, Rybrook Jaguar, have made a generous donation of food and drink to Warrington Youth Club’s Christmas Hamper Appeal, which will go directly towards benefitting deserving families throughout Warrington.

The Christmas Hamper Appeal, now in its 7th year, sees Warrington Youth Club collect non-perishable food and drink donations from local businesses and individuals. Volunteers then use the donations to put together over 100 hampers, which are distributed to families in the local area.

The Hamper Appeal is part of a wider Christmas campaign organised by Warrington Youth Club which also includes a Christmas Meal which will be held on Thursday 20th December.

This special event provides a memorable experience for over 100 deserving families during the festive period. The day is packed with treats and surprises, with each family receiving a 3-course Christmas dinner, entertainment, a family food hamper and presents for children from Santa Claus.

Warrington Youth Club currently welcomes over 3,500 members to its three sites throughout Warrington, however that number is expected to rise to 7,000 with the development of the new Warrington Youth Zone, set to open in 2021.

Vicky Hewitt, Rybrook, said “We heard about the fantastic work being carried out by Warrington Youth Club and we felt compelled to support this amazing project. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Rybrook Jaguar customers and staff for supporting this worthwhile initiative, we know it will make a huge difference to lots of families over the festive period.”
