Young People invited to BBC Radio 4 Election Debate

On Tuesday 3rd December 2019 at 7.00pm, BBC Radio 4 will be recording at Bold Street Methodist Church in Warrington an Election Hustings. This is a meeting where election candidates or parties debate policies and answer questions from the audience.

BBC Radio 4 would like to have young peoples’ concerns and opinions represented at the event, since so many of the issues being debated in the election will affect them directly and as such we have been offered tickets for 10 young people to attend.

Each audience member will have the opportunity to pose a question to the panel of candidates, these will be submitted in advance and a selection will be chosen to reflect a broad range of issues.

Those above 18 who will be eligible to vote in the General Election on 12th December 2019 may find this debate of interest, however any under-18s who would like to come along would be welcome as they will be able to vote in future elections.

This is an incredible opportunity to be involved in what has been described as one of the most contentious and heated elections in recent times. Don’t miss out on the chance to ask a question on an issue that matter to you. In addition, this is a good way to gain experience to complement your studies.

Contact Nuvvy on or 07432 640 939 if you would like to attend. Transport may be possible, discuss any requirements with Nuvvy.
