| WHAT? |
Ever heard the saying, it's not like the good old days...? Have your say by taking part in our brand new oral history project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. "MEMORIES ARE MADE
OF THIS" project captures, preserves and records people's memories showing what it was like to be young in Warrington from the time of the Second World War right up until the 1990s.
We all have stories to tell, stories we have lived and experienced.
Oral history listens to these stories and helps us to better understand our past.
We are looking to recruit young people between the age of 13 upwards to get involved
in this project and learn more about Warrington's heritage. The young people will then act as volunteers interviewing and recording memories themselves, commissioning artwork, participating in community events and much more. Material
produced will be used to design a new exhibition in Warrington Museum by early 2009. The project is FREE to all young volunteers, and will equip you with a whole host of new skills and experiences. It
promises to be great fun in the process!

| WHO? |
The project is FREE to all participants and runs up until January 2009. If you feel that you have a story to tell, and want to get involved with this project, contact us to secure your place. Give us
a ring for1 further information.
